Next-Generation MagneSafe Secure Card Reader Authenticators

Centurion is the first of our next generation Magnesafe Secure Card Reader Authenticators.

In it’s standard configuration, Centurion is a USB Swipe Reader and
is a direct alternative to our Mini USB Swipe Reader range.

Standard parts:
21073075: Centurion, USB HID
21073062: Centurion USB Keyboard Emulation.

However, customers are more and more demanding higher levels of security and
PCI DSS is driving the requirement for end-to-end encryption of card data.

It is therefore possible to sell added value services to Centurion customers which include:

1. Card Authentication using Magneprint.
2. Encrypted MSR data
3. Device and Host Authentication

However, if customers would prefer to manage their own keys, we can offer a Custom Key Loading Service (subject to a MOQ 1,000) and a Custom Key Change Service via Magensa.net (available mid-2010), both an an additional fee.

Excella goes High Speed

Configurable to operate at 45 DPM

Excella has been a huge success story and customers really like the reliability and performance of our multi document cheque scanner. However, with a standard operating speed of 30 DPM (Documents Per Minute), some have said that it is a little slow.

So to meet these demands, we’ve now upgraded Excella and all units can now be configured to operate at 45 DPM when used as a USB device!

Standard units will be factory configured to operate at 30 DPM. A simple command to the unit will change it to it’s High Speed configuration. Alternatively, for larger orders, we can configure this during the build.

Capture OCR and Barcode data from scanned cheques

We frequently have a requirement to read OCR and/or Bar Coded documents.

Opti-Read is a software product that analyses the images coming from any MagTek MICR Scanner and allows full OCR and Bar Code reading.

Opti-Read is simple to install and sits alongside regular MagTek Device Drivers outputting OCR and Bar-Code data alongside the MICR data and image.

A single, 1 time payable software license fee is applicable for each device.

Eventually replacing MDX, Image-Safe is our next generation, low cost, double sided, MICR Cheque Reader/Scanner.

Image-Safe incorporates on-board image processing, outputting files in formats such as .tiff or jpeg, making it compatible with our successful Excella product range.

Available with USB 2.0 and backwards compatible it allows low cost imaging in both newer and legacy systems.
